Three phase padmount transformers are designed and manufactured in compliance with all applicable ANSI and RUS standards. All transformers are oil-filled, 65°C rise, and designed for usual service conditions per IEEE C57.12.00 and DOE 2016 compliant.
Ratings available are 45 through 3000 kVA with primary voltages 2.4 through 15 kV (125 kV BIL) and secondary voltages up to 480 volts. All standard tap configurations available: dual voltage in most combinations, dual voltage with taps only (series connection only) and impedance and loss options available in most designs.
- All bracing is internal.
- Cover is removable.
- Pedestal base reduces weight and offers corrosion protection.
- Bushings are externally clamped with stainless steel studs and plated hardware.
- Internal leads are sized for bushing extraction in times of maintenance and repair.
- 100% of the padmount receives a paint finish that exceeds all IEEE requirements including 160 in-lb impact, 2000 hour salt spray, 1000 hours QUV and 20 cycle SCAB.
